Everyday I Get up to See the Villain Stealing the Show 18
The excited crowd blocked the whole alley as angry victims took away the twins’ bodies. Girls scrambled to probe and peek at the heroes. Men rushed forward, wanting to throw the hero into the air to celebrate.
Han Changsheng was so scared that he was sweating. He pushed and kicked people aside to path a path out. As soon as he was free, he fled back to the inn. He was a master of the magical teachings of the world of martial arts. The cool, handsome, domineering Head of the Demonic Cult had never been so embarrassed. Not in his wildest dreams would he experience such a day. . .
Reaching the inn, he didn’t have a moment of peace. The news moved quickly, and several elders ran inside with the disciples of Yuehua Sect. The inn was surrounded by huge crowds, it was impossible to enter or leave. The elders had to push and shove to finally get inside the inn.
“You killed the Yin and Yang?” the Huang elders sighed. “It’s a pity you couldn’t take them to the martial arts conference. You would’ve had more publicity!”
“Ai~” Yuan Changdao said, “Don’t say it like that. Now that the Yin and Yang are dead, it can save us from a bigger disaster. The news will soon spread throughout the world of martial arts. When the conference comes, they’ll look up at Yuehua Sect, rather than down.”
“Jiulong, Jiulong, you made a great contribution!” Tan Changdao said, “After this battle, you, a young hero, will be famous!”
The disciple brothers surrounded Han Changsheng, asking all kinds of questions. They wanted to know everything, but, most importantly, what happened. He had to say he couldn’t sleep and went to take a stroll. He happened to run into the Yin and Yang twins and saw how weak they were. He killed them easily. In fact, the process was no longer important, and no one cared. The important thing was that Yin and Yang were gone.
“Da Shixiong, you are so powerful!” Liu Xiaoqi stared with sparkly eyes, pulling on his hand.
Yue Yu-er ran up and forced Liu Xiaoqi aside, throwing herself at Han Changsheng. He used a finger against her shoulder to shove her away.
Yue Yu-er’s excited eyes were full of admiration. “Da Shixiong, you are so handsome! I know that Da Shixiong is the best! Did you kill them with one swing of your sword?” Her hands moved in big gestures as she spoke.
Han Changsheng was annoyed, feeling like his head would explode. He wanted to cry but couldn’t.
“Da Shixiong,” An Yuan said, gently picking up Han Changseng’s hand, “Is your injury okay?”
Han Changsheng cursed all the immortals in heaven. He wouldn’t have attracted so much trouble if they didn’t kick the troublesome Dog Lord down to the mortal realm to learn his lesson. As the Head of Demonic Cult, being regarded as a hero and vigilante ruined his legendary reputation!
On the surface, in an incomparable sincerity, he squeezed An Yuan’s hand. “Shidi, I am fine. Fortunately, this sword cut my hand. If you were the one injured, my heart would hurt for a lifetime.”
Tears filled An Yuan’s eyes.
After some discussion among the elders, the post-arrangement was set. They still had to settle the situation in Yueyang Town. Nearly all the victimized children were new disciples who wanted to join the Yuehua Sect, and they were obligated to comfort the families. The opportunity also allowed form the to check the qualifications of other children in advance. However, it was unnecessary to have so many people around, so the elders left. Han Changsheng and a few disciples were left to deal with the press.
Once the elders were gone, Yuan Changdao turned to Han Changsheng. “Kowloon, the people outside are calling your name. Some want to give you gifts, some want to marry their children or grandchildren off to you, and some want a glimpse of the svelte hero. They should see you. The inn is surrounded, and no one can leave with them there. ”
“I will not go!” Han Changsheng resolutely opposed, “We need to hurry back to Yuehua Sect!”
Such a joke, the Head of Demonic Cult being treated as a hero by the people. He wouldn’t muddle! A few days had passed since the last time he tried to drive the Dog Lord out of the Sect. If he didn’t find a way to complete the task, everything would be over!
“But if the people outside can’t see you,” Elder Yuan said, “They will be disappointed.”
Han Changsheng replied, “I’m determined not to go! If you force me, I will leave by myself!”
“The people are so enthusiastic,” Elder Huang advised, “Why won’t you let them see you?”
“Da Shixiong has done well,” An Yuan said, “He doesn’t want praise for it. Besides defeating the devils, this is what the disciples of Yuehua Sec should do. Obtaining too much gratitude and gaining a false reputation would tarnish Da Shixiong’s good mood. I think we should respect his wishes and leave in secret. We don’t want to add any burden to the people.”
Han Changsheng stared at An Yuan. Everyone was in such a great mood because of him. Why was he so uncomfortable?
The elders and disciples listened to An Yuan’s words and saw that Han Changsheng’s eyes had changed. Adored, Appreciated, self-satisfied. . . The disciples looked at Han Changsheng with admiration in their gazes.
Elder Yuan patted Han Changsheng’s shoulder and said, “So that’s what you were thinking! If not for An Yuan, we would’ve neglected that position! You are really good, worthy of being the head disciple of our Yuehua Sect. Since you think that way, you can all sneak out and go back to Yuehua Sect. We will deal with the rest!”
The remaining two Elders gave Han Changsheng a thumbs up.
Han Changsheng: “. . .”
It didn’t matter if they misunderstood him, it was good to leave the damn place. The three elders let An Yuan and several disciples escort Han Changsheng out before turning back to handle the crowds.
Since they were sneaking away, they couldn’t just walk out. An Yuan first brought Han Changsheng to his room and handed him a straw hat and a veil. Smiling at him, he said, “I didn’t expect Da Shixiong to need this one day, but our disciple brothers really empathize with you. Hey, it’s not always good to be outstanding.”
Han Changsheng: “. . .”
He wanted to beat someone up.
Han Changsheng and An Yuan wore straw hats and veils. The elders arranged three disciples to go with them from the back door of the inn. Fortunately, the entire Yueyang town was chaotic. They did not wear the Yuehua Sect’s disciple uniforms, so they could blend into the crowd unnoticed. Quickly, they made their way through hordes of people.
Not long after, several others followed suit.
A small pavilion stood at the foot of the Yuehua Mountain for people to rest. A white-haired old man sat at the door, leaning against one of the pillars. He had ragged clothes and sloppy beard stubble, he looked like a wandering beggar. From other disciples of the Yuehua Sect, they found out he’d been walking to the tea pavilion for a while. The old man didn’t move, his chest didn’t rise and fall with breath.
Several disciples of the Yuehua Sect whispered.
“Look at the old man, is he dead?”
“He seems like it. Ah, he looks like he’s eighty or ninety years old, why is he all alone? No children? Really pitiful.”
An Yuan hesitated for a while, then untied the water pocket at his waist. He touched the food in his arms, then prepared to go to the old man.
“Hey!” Han Changsheng called.
An Yuan turned back, replacing the water pocket to his waist. Anxiously, he looked at Han Changsheng. “Da Shixiong, is something wrong?”
Han Changsheng took off his straw hat and pulled at his collar with his uninjured hand. It was so hot, and he was wrapped up to not be recognized. He was sweating all over, a bead of it flowing down his arm. It dripped onto his wound, making it sting.
Han Changsheng irritatedly pulled at the wet bandage. Pressing a hand against his arm, An Yuan took a new bandage from the package. “Don’t move.”
Han Changsheng’s arm stretched out, An Yuan helped him change the medicine.
As An Yuan worked to clean the wound, two young swordsmen approached from Yueyang Town. One was short with freckles, and the other was thin and tall.
“Damn it, it’s really suffocating,” The tall one whined, “The Yin and Yang were so useless they were actually killed by the Yuehua Sect, those spineless cowards. Made us go on a wild-goose chase.”
“We didn’t sleep for a half month trying to get here when we heard the twins were around!” The short one agreed, “I wanted to ruthlessly ruin the sect’s reputation. But, this was. . . really fucking horrible!”
“That person, Li Jiulong. I’ve never heard of him. Before we left, our sect head warned us to watch out for Yuehua Sect’s second disciple, Huangfu something or other. Fuck that difficult name, can’t remember it even after hearing it a hundred times. . . I heard the guy was a descended Immortal, and we shouldn’t force his hand. But, it wasn’t even about him. Instead, this Li guy was the one to get the spotlight.”
Several Yuehua disciples overheard their conversation. Their faces flushed with anger. Finishing Han Changsheng’s medicine, An Yuan advised the other disciples to keep calm. “Just ignore them.”
The disciples swallowed their anger, content to stare at the two men.
The tall one poked the short one. “Hey, those guys up front, aren’t they from the Yuehua Sect?”
The short one flashed a look of disdain. “Aren’t the spineless cowards of the Yuehua Sect still in Yueyang Town acting mighty? Why did they come here? They had to send dozens of disciples and three elders out to catch the Yin and Yang. Hey,” He whispered, “I’m bet they don’t know they’re spineless cowards. They only know how to fight in a group.”
Feeling the ill gaze of the Yuehua Sect’s disciples, the tall one laughed. “You aren’t wrong. Even if they are from the Yuehua Sect, there aren’t seven of them. They couldn’t fight as a group if they wanted to.”
His words were deliberately loud so An Yuan and the others could hear it.
They were mocking the Seven Stars of the Yuehua Sect. The Yuehua Sect’s status in the world of martial arts had always been embarrassing. Their formation was famous, powerful enough that the seven entry-level disciples in the sword array could take on seven masters. If they were the same level, fighting even fifty opponents wasn’t difficult. When fighting on their own, however, the disciples could only compete with smaller sects. They were weaker than most other famous swordsmen. Many of the other sects belonging to the famous Jianpai Sect looked down on the Yuehua Sect.
Rewrapping Han Changsheng’s injury, An Yuan asked, “Da Shixiong, it’s done. Are you still in pain?”
Han Changsheng tried moving his hands. It was still painful. The wound hadn’t healed, but it was better than before.
“Da Shixiong, Er Shixiong, those two are too arrogant,” A disciple commented, then asked, “Can’t we teach them a lesson?”
“The gentleman must tolerate others.” Softly, An Yuan said, “It’s better to avoid unnecessary trouble.”
Han Changsheng nodded, but listened with great interest. The strangers should say more offensive things. It was too pleasant to hear famous people tearing each other apart!
Staring at their feet, a disciple grumbled, “They are people of the Yunxiao Sect!”
The Yunxiao Sect was one of the best, like the Yuehua Sect. Contrary to the Yuehua Sect, the Yunxiao Sect attached great importance to the ability to fight alone. There was almost no coordination and formation. If the disciples are singled out, they would be the best. But, if they encountered a melee group battle, they would suffer. Moreover, the footwork they practiced with their method was quite special. When walking, their disciples’ feet stuck out to the sides. The Yuehua Sect disciples recognized their martial arts through their feet, alone.
A smile on his face, Han Changsheng rejoiced in other people’s misfortunes. His eyes widening, he said, “Damn it, from the Yunxiao Sect?! ”
He looked at how they walked, and sure enough, he saw it!
The disciples of the Yunxiao Sect reached the side of the pavilion. They were tired and planning to take a break there, just like the old man by the door. Unmoving, he blocked half the entrance. Han Changsheng was suspicious that he died, sitting there.
Going up to the old man, the short guy lifted his foot. Preparing to kick him, he said, “Stinky beggar, don’t block the door!”
The short guy’s foot barely grazed the old man when Han Changsheng’s foot smashed across his face. The force of Han Changsheng’s kick sent him flying until he slammed into the pillar of the pavilion!
It happened so quickly, everyone was stunned to silence. When An Yuan realized the two swordsmen intended to be rude to the old man, he prepared to stop them. He didn’t anticipate that Han Changsheng’s reaction would be faster than his.
The Yuehua Sect disciples froze. As they realized what had happened, they turned to Han Changsheng with admiration in their eyes. His courage, his reaction speed, the strength of his foot, everything was unpredictable! None of them believed the short guy would trample the old man. By the time they saw him move, it was too late to react. But, Han Changsheng knew what was happening and responded in an instant. He was so awesome. He was worthy of being the one who killed the Yin and Yang!
The reason Han Changsheng moved so quickly was because he moved before the short guy even started. His timing was so amazing that just as the guy’s foot touched the old man, his own foot hit the guy’s face. Everyone thought Han Changsheng planned to teach the impolite bastard a lesson, but the reality was quite different.
Who was the old man? Han Changsheng didn’t know! He had no interest in knowing, all he wanted was to kick the Yunxiao disciples’ asses!
Yunxiao was the best of the swordsmen sects, and their disciples’ skills were incredible. He was bold enough to speak rudely about other sects, but the Tianning’s teachings were even more arrogant. The former year, the Sect Head of the Yunxiao Sect said they would take down the Tianning Cult within three years. He hoped everyone at the martial arts conference would recommend him as the head of the martial arts union. After hearing the news, Han Changsheng laughed and decided to beat up anyone he encountered from the Yunxiao Sect!
Seeing his companion be flung around by Han Changsheng, the tall one was shocked. Then, fury raging through him, he rested his hand on the sword at his waist. Just as quickly, Han Changsheng grabbed his shoulder, delivering a strong knee attack –
“Ah!!!” The tall one’s scream echoed through the hills, his face as white as paper. He collapsed to the ground, rolling in pain. He already suspected Han Changsheng was from the Yuehua Sect, a sect which paid special attention to quality. He didn’t anticipate Han Changsheng would land an attack where he did. He was no different than some seven-year-old who never learned martial arts! Lazily aiming for his opponent’s sensitive parts, he was defenseless. Han Changsheng took off half his lifespan with just a knee!
High and mighty, Han Changsheng looked with disdain at the two Yunxiao Sect disciples. “It is best for you to manage your tongue. The next time we meet, I’ll give you worse than a single hit!”
Seeing Da Shixiong so domineering, the disciples of the Yuehua Sect cheered. They had long hoped that someone could help them release their resentment, but they weren’t good at fighting one-on-one. Besides that, they couldn’t fight as a group without a good reason. The head and the two brothers always advised them to endure and suffocate. They endured to the point of their lungs almost exploding. They had long dreamed that they or their brothers and sisters would beat the other sects to the ground, killing their reputations! Regardless of whether he used sneak attacks or shameless tricks, he did it! They could finally stand to breathe again!
Just fighting the two from the Yunxiao sect, their respect increased tenfold!
An Yuan, however, was different from the younger brothers. He looked at the sloppy old beggar. He saw that the short man’s foot had hit the old man. Although Han Changsheng flung him away in an instant, his foot left an imprint. The old man still didn’t move, though. The short guy had only kicked a piece of an iron plate. . .
The old man was not an ordinary person.

Me too, though. Guess we’ll have to wait and see!
<3
As long as he doesn’t kick the wrong ass again lololok
Thx for the ch \(≧▽≦)/
True~ could you imagine if he did, though? He’d hate himself even more lol
<3
HCS should get two empty metal pots and smack them onto their heads after the kicks and then let the other Yuehua disciples hit the overturned pots like a set of drums to vent their anger.
So no HCS doing some sword sheath smudging An Yuan’s face?
So Lord An Yuan met the old man anyway? Ahead of schedule? Interesting. 🤔
Aiyo mc, another misunderstanding and limelight added! XD — suspicious old man might be what the fate has planned out and everyone talking about //facepalm
if only those shidis know his real reason 😂
