Everyday I Get up to See the Villain Stealing the Show 76

Han Changsheng looked at the strange man, and a thought struck him like a thunderbolt. This person, he may not even be human. Wait, could it be the little stinky egg?!
When the mysterious man didn’t feel Han Changsheng’s hand against his head, he turned over instead. He faced An Yuan, about to rub against his arms, when he was stunned back to reality. He looked down at his body and leapt from the bed.
“Meow… I mean, ah!”
Han Changsheng shivered.
The air in the room seemed to solidify. After a long time, An Yuan finally broke the silence. “Who are you?”
The mysterious man narrowed his eyes and scratched his chin. “I… I am… I’m a passer-by. I saw you both sleeping so comfortably. Seeing you made me sleepy too, so I thought I would just take a nap with you.”
Han Changsheng and An Yuan: “…”
The mysterious man laughed twice, very awkwardly.
“Since it’s dawn now, I’ll go. Later!” He jumped down from the bed and rushed flexibly towards the door.
Subconsciously, An Yuan gave chase. “Stop!”
Just then, Han Changsheng obstructed An Yuan’s pursuit. “Do not chase him!”
The mysterious man raced out so fast he disappeared in the blink of an eye.
An Yuan looked at Han Changsheng in disbelief. “Why don’t you want to chase him? Do you know who he is?”
Han Changsheng shook his head like a rattle drum. He thought he must be crazy. Recently, there were too many ghosts and celestial beings. His first reaction was to suspect the guy was that cat, the little stinky egg. If the little stinky egg was really a cat demon, he couldn’t afford to let An Yuan discover it. The Black and White Impermanence deities had warned Han Changsheng that the Dog Lord was a descended immortal unaware of celestials. Letting him know of the existence of the supernatural would affect his heavenly trials and ascension. It was better to let him know as little as possible about demons and ghosts.
Again, An Yuan asked, “Why didn’t you let me chase him?”
Han Changsheng said, “He somehow got inside to sleep with us, but neither of us were aware of it. He also ran away in a blink of an eye. He must be very good at martial arts, we couldn’t catch up with him even if we chased him. Let him go. We’d better check if anything is missing.”
An Yuan nodded, feeling that it was reasonable for them to get up and check their stuff.
After searching for a long time, they found that all their money and weapons were accounted for. Han Changsheng said, “It doesn’t seem like he stole anything.”
“No!” An Yuan suddenly slapped his thigh. “Cherry Snow Spirit Feather… I mean, the cat is gone!”
Han Changsheng froze for a moment.
An Yuan asked, “Was that guy a cat thief?!”
Han Changsheng: “….” Why would anyone steal that stupid cat?
Surprised, An Yuan suddenly thought of something. “Just now, that man’s actions were somewhat like a cat’s. He couldn’t be Cherry Snow Spirit Feather’s transformation, right?”
Han Changsheng froze again. If the man before him weren’t the Dog Lord, whom he had suffered so much for, he might have thought that someone with that kind of thinking was crazy. But now, even the Dog Lord came to his conclusion.
Fortunately, after a while, An Yuan laughed at himself, “How can a cat become a human being? The Wulin Conference will be held in a few days, and there are people here from all walks of life. Who knows for sure? I don’t know if he really meant to sneak into our room in the middle of the night. As for the cat, it’s a cat, so maybe it ran off by itself, right?”
Han Changsheng nodded. “Yes… Yes.”
The mysterious man had already disappeared, and it was useless for them to entangle themselves in the matter, so they began to do their business. Han Changsheng said, “You keep checking to see if things from the room are missing, I’ll bring you breakfast.”
An Yuan had no objections, so Han Changsheng pushed the door open.
Han Changsheng went downstairs but didn’t immediately buy breakfast. Instead, he came to an open alley, then looked east and west. Finally, he whispered, “little stinky egg?” If the guy was really a cat demon, it might have a reason to approach them. It shouldn’t be far away.
No one answered in the alley. Han Changsheng looked around two or three times without gain. He turned back in disappointment.
The man was standing right behind him.
“Oh my god!” Han Changsheng half exclaimed in fright.
The man scratched his chin and hesitated. “Are you looking for me?”
Han Changsheng licked his lips. “Are you the little stinky egg?”
The man laughed and a green light flashed in his eyes.
Shocked, Han Changsheng asked, “Are you really the little stinky egg, the cat?”
A flash of light filled the air, and the man turned into a cat. He walked gracefully to Han Changsheng’s feet and rubbed his body against his legs.
Han Changsheng bent down to poke the little stinky egg’s head. It was incredible. It was the first time he’d seen a living cat demon.
Now that Han Changsheng had a good, long look at the little stinky egg, he felt that the man version of the cat demon looked familiar. He asked, “That night, behind the Yuehua Sect… Was that you?” That day, he had just learned about the death of old man Xuanji and Elder Lan Fang, so he sneaked behind the mountain in the middle of the night. As a result, he met a mysterious man he’d never seen before.
The little stinky egg nodded. “Yes, that was me. I wanted to talk to you that day, but when you saw me, you tried to fight me. I had to run.”
At the time, Han Changsheng mistakenly thought the man might be the Elder Lan Fang’s murderer, so he immediately decided to catch him. Since the person that night was actually the little stinky egg, he likely hadn’t killed Elder Lan Fang and old man Xuanji. Han Changsheng recalled that Elder Lan Fang once said that the cat had been with him for decades, so he attached great importance to the people the cat brought to him. At the time, he only thought Elder Lan Fang was mistaken because of his old age, but he would have never suspected the little stinky egg to be a cat demon!
Han Changsheng asked, “Why did you come here?”
“I’m looking for you and Xianjun,” The little stinky egg said.
It shocked Han Changsheng. “You know An Yuan’s identity?”
The little stinky egg nodded. “Before you came to the Yuehua Sect, I liked to be close to him most, because he had a light breath, which can improve the cultivation of evil spirits. I endured his bad habit of talking to himself in the mirror behind closed doors every night, even if his words always made me want to beat him up.”
Han Changsheng: “…” Looking back, he still had the urge to take off his shoes.
The little stinky egg said, “Later, the Black and White Impermanence deities found me. That’s when I learned he was a descended immortal.”
“What?” Han Changsheng was surprised again. “The Black and White Impermanence deities visited you?”
“They told me about An Yuan Xianjun’s coming down to earth and asked me to help you,” The little stinky egg said.
Han Changsheng asked, “Why do they never show up these days?!” He hadn’t seen the Black and White Impermanence deities for a long time. If he had had more guidance, he wouldn’t have made so many blunders.
The little stinky egg licked his hand and said, “They are gods. They said the Immortal King An Yuan Xianjun had sustained critical damage and thus descended back to earth to receive his trials again as a mortal. The immortals cannot interfere. The intervention of immortals will lead to the failure of An Yuan Xianjun’s heavenly ascension. Moreover, they are busy with the business of immortals, and they cannot monitor you all the time. I’m a cat demon who has practiced for hundreds of years. If I can make great achievements, I have hope that I will become a demon lord after Xianjun passes successfully through his trials. Thus, they asked me to help you.”
“Wait a minute,” Han Changsheng said, “You said that before I went to the Yuehua Sect, you liked An Yuan best. Why did you take me to see Elder Lan Fang after I arrived?” This was also a major change in An Yuan’s life path. Han Changsheng felt that he was innocent and that the cat demon caused the mistake.
“Because you have the breath of a king,” The little stinky egg said.
“Breath of a king?!” Han Changsheng sputtered, “What the fuck does that even mean?”
=口=
The little stinky egg licked his paws and wiped his face. “I’m not too sure myself. It’s a breath that can make people surrender involuntarily.” Jumping to Han Changsheng, he grabbed his hand and sat it on his head with his paws. He enjoyed being petted by the cult leader the entire time he talked.
The little stinky egg then turned into a human again, although his human height made it weird since he wasn’t short. The posture was very awkward. Han Changsheng felt that the hand he was rubbing the little stinky egg with was damp. Then, he remembered the cat demon had just groomed itself with its own spit and pulled his hand away fast as lightning.
The little stinky egg looked at him, feeling wronged.
Han Changsheng looked at him suspiciously. “You’re not the guy who’s been troubling me recently, are you?”
The little stinky egg shook his head furiously. “I’ve never caused a mess for you! I’ve been helping you!”
“Seriously?” Han Changsheng doubted him. “Was it not you who made me win in the arena?”
The little stinky egg flattered him, “I am, I am, isn’t everyone praising you as formidable, your highness?”
“Ouch!” Han Changsheng hit the cat demon’s head hard with his fist. Covering his head, the little stinky egg looked at him with grievances in his eyes. “What was that for?”
Han Changsheng smiled ominously and said, “So, you’re the guy who compelled me to beat Lu Wenlin in a fight?”
The little stinky egg covered his head and nodded. “Yes, it was me… Ow, why did you hit me again?!”
Han Changsheng beat him and said, “How did those two guys teach you? You ruined all my good plans! Is An Yuan immortal, or is Laozi immortal?!”
“An Yuan is immortal!” Cried the little stinky egg.
Han Changsheng grabbed him by the collar. “Aren’t you here to help him through the trials?! The Black and White Impermanence deities didn’t tell you that he would become the leader of the Wulin?! Why didn’t you help him beat me?!”
The little stinky egg pouted. He was so aggrieved that he could only pinch out tears. “You have the breath of a king, I didn’t want you to lose… Don’t hit, don’t hit! Besides, I cannot use magic on An Yuan!”
Han Changsheng asked, “Why?”
“The Black and White Impermanence deities told me not to use any skill on the Immortal King. This will affect his heavenly tribulations, so I can only use it on you…” The cat demon mewled.
Han Changsheng grabbed him and continued to beat him. “Is that the reason? Yeah?! Do you know you’ve done me a terrible disservice?!”
He beat up and cornered the little stinky egg until he couldn’t hide. With a bang, the little stinky egg turned into a cat and ran out of the alley with a meow.
Han Changsheng chased after the cat into the street. As the demon disappeared, he remembered that he had come down to buy breakfast, so he went back to the inn and bought some baozi.
An Yuan sat in the room, waiting for Han Changsheng to return, and said, “Where have you been? Did you go over mountains and hills to buy breakfast?”
Han Changsheng laughed. “I… I was worried about the little stinky egg, so I went out and looked for it. It’s a pity that I didn’t find it.”
An Yuan stared at him, saying nothing more. He took the food the cult leader had delivered.
Han Changsheng sat down opposite him and bit into the steamed pork bun in his hand. He was still thinking about what the cat demon said earlier. Breath of a king. What was that? It sounded like a good thing. Thus, it must be that his personal charm was too powerful!
Ah, so the reason for these troubles is that I am too amazing…

Haha, HCS sure caught on quite quickly. But which normal person would think a person sleeping in their bed wouldn’t be human? Probably because he’s been bothered by the mystery person for the past few fights? Little stinky egg’s reaction is kind of precious to be honest. Though I don’t know if I’ll still think that during the rest of this novel… He has a very, very bad excuse though. He’s not good at making something up on the fly, is he? I don’t understand why HCS doesn’t want AY not to chase LSE, but I’ll wait patiently… Read more »
Told you, you’d need a broom~~ I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!! <3
I was gone a while but I’ve to say that it was really nice to read so many chapters at one sitting :3 Maybe I’ll stack a few again? :’D I wasn’t really surprised that that mysterious man was the cat xD (Okay, I don’t remember my thoughts of that ch, but anyway x’D) But how he destroyed HCS’ months worth of hard work in just two days… that’s hard :’D And let me guess, Mr Black & White will blame HCS again for it if everything goes wrong in the end and they learn of it. Hahaha, well, I… Read more »

They both are narcisstic
Oof, yes. Yes they are.
Thanks for the chapter!
