Everyday I Get up to See the Villain Stealing the Show 12

Over the past few days, Han Changsheng had some contact with An Yuan. He was definitely a dog, it was still strange to consider him a god. The guy was a law-abiding student, though. He was the textbook definition of a righteous gentleman. He respected the elders and the younger brothers. He loved the people outside the sect. He took on the devil as his personal responsibility.

The black and white impermanence told him that An Yuan Xianjun’s mortal life was a good young man with good roots. He was warm, tolerant, generous. . . Any “good” word would suit him.

Han Changsheng always hated the righteous gentleman. Not because they were kind, but because most of the real gentlemen were hypocritical. The things they want were falsely pushed away, and those who are invisible in their gaze are called brothers and sisters. But if a person was really decent in their heart, Han Changsheng could only think – they must be very dull.

Han Changsheng dove under An Yuan’s window. Their rooms were on the third floor, but there was a raised raft under the window frame. Han Changsheng had light footsteps and excellent balance, so one foot on the second floor rafters stabilized him. The sky was dark, and no one was outside, so no one would find him. He poked a hole through the window screen to peak inside.

In the room, An Yuan wasn’t wearing his straw hat veil. He had just taken a shower, and his long black hair was still damp. It slid down on his shoulders, lining his skin like snow. Han Changsheng was dumbstruck, then stubbornly pinched his thighs to help pull himself together. He secretly cursed Dog Lord and continued hiding.

An Yuan sat in front of his mirror and combed his hair, then rubbed his nose. Sighing, he said, “I can’t possibly look good with this nose. This day is impossible.”

Han Changsheng: “. . .”

He took off his shoes, ready to climb into the room, but he resisted it. He took three deep breaths and continued to observe while gritting his teeth.

An Yuan kept combing his hair, then paused and looked at the wall. Reaching out, he gently pulled off a gecko and smiled down at it. “Little guy, how come you came here? Are you lost?”

Docile in An Yuan’s hand, the gecko made no move to escape. Perhaps An Yuan’s scent made it feel comfortable.

An Yuan touched its back. “Or because I am so charming, you came here to peek at me?”

“. . .” The shoes Han Changsheng just put back on were once again in his hands.

After a while, An Yuan took the gecko and sat it down under the table. Teasing it, he said, “Speak with me, there are too few people who talk with me in peacetime. I don’t know what happened with Cherry Snow Spirit Feather.  she doesn’t like to chat with me when I go out every day. Only you can accompany me. ”

Han Changsheng put on his shoes while taking a deep breath. Who was Cherry Snow Spirit Feather? Was that someone from the Yuehua Sect? He hadn’t seemed to have heard of them and would have to ask around later. Listening to the dog lord’s tone, his relationship with Cherry Snow Spirit Feather wasn’t bad.

“Broken Dreams,” An Yuan said. “Little guy, this is your new name.”

Han Changsheng almost climbed down from the third floor. Huangfu Fengxuan Xichen was the son of Huangfu Tugen, his biological and proper son.

“Broken Dreams, sometimes I don’t know if I am too good or if the people around me are too bad.” An Yuan said gently, touching the gecko’s back. “I know that the leader has placed high hopes on me. . . Well, of course, it’s also because I’m the only one in the sect who can see it. The other shixingdi are really… They can’t even match one of my little fingers… Alas…”

Han Changsheng took off his shoes and threw them directly into a tree in the distance. That way, he wouldn’t worry that he couldn’t help but throw them in An Yuan’s face.

“The leader wants me to marry his shimei. I am very smart, but somehow I can’t see Master’s mind. I don’t want to marry her. Appearance aside, the shimei’s temper is too bad. Look at her, and you’ll see, she acts like an ancestor. But I am her shixiong, and she is her father’s disciple. I can be good to her, but she does everything excessively, and I have to let her. I was told to be the best person in the world. And, to be the shixiong, you have to do the best.”

Han Changsheng silently threw everything he could use to smack someone with into the tree.

“I don’t know how, but it seems that she suddenly likes Da-Shixiong… He liked her for a long time, but she liked me. If she marries him. . . He can take her over and solve a real problem for me. But, Da-Shixiong is really…”

Han Changsheng perked up, listening closely. He was curious to hear how An Yuan would evaluate Li Jiulong. After all, now he was Li Jiulong. How An Yuan viewed him is the key to how he could deal with him.

An Yuan spread out his hand. “I have never seen such a stupid person. He said he’s jealous to death of me. . . Well, what makes me such a good person. . . I have people at my side all day, pretending to be very good with me just so Da-Shixiong can look at them more. I can understand him, too. There are people like me who are so good. After a long time, my heart is definitely not smooth. He usually thinks bad about me behind my back. He doesn’t know I know he does it. Broken Dreams, do you think that people like me are so smart, they can’t miss his sinister intentions?”

“Before he went down the mountain, he suddenly told me that his grandfather loved the inkstones in Moliang Village most. Fortunately, I knew that the inkstones were produced in remote areas. Didn’t he just want me to go to Moliang Village in hopes something would happen to me when I ran into someone from the demonic cult? I followed what he said, I was just being the best shidi.”

An Yuan paused and sighed again. “Nothing happened during the trip. There was a strange tea pavilion on the road. . .  I seem to have fallen asleep in the tea house, and I squatted there for a while, finishing the character that Master gave me.”

“I have been lucky since I was a child. Once I have a stroke of bad luck, I will have a surprise waiting for me. This is probably because I am the son of the pride of the sky. Sometimes I really doubt that I am an immortal that descended from heaven, but how else can I be this excellent? ”

Han Changsheng frantically tried to pull himself together. He was going crazy, he couldn’t listen anymore. If he kept going, he would have a strong desire to throw himself into the room and beat up the dog lord!

The gecko shook his tail and rubbed against An Yuan’s fingers with his head.

An Yuan lowered his eyes and looked at it. After a while, he whispered, “It’s lonely at the top. . . Sometimes I feel alone. . .”

Han Changsheng was stunned. The anger in his heart seemed to level out. An Yuan’s words held a deep sense of sadness, and his emotions were contagious.

Han Changsheng frowned, his mood complicated.

Then, he heard An Yuan speak again, “I know, it’s my fault for being so handsome, so smart, so attractive, that others have no will to live…”

Han Changsheng couldn’t breathe and almost fell. Fed up with no desire to endure, he made his shadow punch An Yuan’s. Then, he went back to his room and went to sleep.

Early the next morning, the Yuehua ordered disciples to gather in the lobby. After eating some breakfast, they started to investigate the Yin and Yang.

The Yin and Yang were up to something evil, they had been famous for five years around the Wulin. In the first three years, they had committed dozens of crimes. Over one or two months, they kidnapped several boys and girls. Afterward, because of the pursuit of the Tianning Cult, they disappeared for nearly a year and a half. This time, though, it took one month for them to cause three more cases, a frequency much higher than before.

An Yuan and Han Changsheng took the disciples to the places where the children were captured.

Stolen in the middle of the night, it was obvious that the Yin and Yang were afraid of causing trouble. This time, they were acting very low-key. No one saw how or when they started. By the time anyone found out, the children were gone and when they were found again, their souls had been sucked from their bodies.

The innkeeper led Han Changsheng and others into a room and sighed. “That poor child. . . That night, the devil was in this room.”

An Yuan walked around the room and asked, “What about the children’s parents?”

The shopkeeper replied, “Too sad. They left our inn and found another place to stay.”

Liu Xiaoqi walked into the room, wrinkled his nose curiously, then gave a thoughtful expression.

They found nothing in the room, no clues left by the twins, they left the inn to continue their investigation.

After patrolling the streets for a day, there was nothing to gain, and the disciples returned to the inn.

In the lobby, a group of adults gathered together, and several children played alongside them. Among the adults, one woman was crying, and the rest sat nearby to comfort her.

An Yuan was stunned. Finding a waiter, he whispered, “What’s wrong with them?”

The waiter whispered, “The couple’s children were stolen by the Yin and Yang. They saw other couples carrying their children, and they were saddened by it all. When they remembered the children they had, the mother couldn’t help but cry. ” When it came to this, the waiter also sadly wiped away his tears.

An Yuan stared at them thoughtfully for a moment, then shook his head gently and told the shixingdi not to bother them. It was time for the night patrol to go to the streets and for the rest to return to their rooms.

Han Changsheng took a shower after eating and sneaked out of the window to spy on An Yuan again.

The little gecko An Yuan cared so affectionately for was still in his room.

“Broken Dreams.” Anyuan shredded a steamed baozi and fed it to the gecko. “Eat.”

When Han Changsheng heard the name, it was like he drank acid.

Like the previous day, An Yuan spoke to the ugly gecko. This time, Han Changsheng didn’t wear shoes, and he didn’t bring anything that could be thrown. But when he heard the unbearable name, he had to wave a punch in the air to settle the bitter taste in his mouth.

“Oh, Right.” An Yuan seemed to remember something interesting. He laughed and glanced at the gecko’s head. “I met two weirdos in an inn yesterday afternoon. Young and beautiful, they looked very gentle, but their temper was strange. Their martial arts skills seemed to be very high, but…”

Han Changsheng perked up his ears.

“The two guys refused to report their sect. I don’t think they have one. If not, what sect could raise such guys? How could the sect survive? Unless everyone in the sect is crazy or a fool!” An Yuan shrugged and tore off more of his baozi to feed to the gecko.

Motherfucker!

Han Changsheng stood up fiercely. He dared to say that I’m a fool or a madman?! Fuck your grandmother’s leg! Laozi fights you today!

An Yuan lowered his head and concentrated on feeding the gecko. He didn’t notice the shadow that suddenly appeared outside the window.

Han Changsheng was preparing to attack when a loud knock came from the door.

An Yuan didn’t move, he had no intention to open the door. Han Changsheng groaned, put down his fist, listened carefully for a moment, then realized the knock came from his door. He took a breath and climbed back to his room. Opening the door, he saw that the person standing on the other side was Liu Xiaoqi.

Liu Xiaoqi pinched his clothes and looking a little cramped. “Da-Shixiong, can I come in? I. . . I have something to say to you.”

Han Changsheng was displeased because he disrupted his spying, and barked, “Get on with it!”

It was smart of him to keep all throw-able items in his room the second night.

“I’m so handsome I could fall in love with myself. ” “I’m a good person I can’t help but forgive them being fools. ” God An Yuan is so shameless here. I wanna slap his little mouth to stop his babbling about how good and handsome he is. I can’t blame HCS for wanting to hit the guy. This just shows that HCS is a tad bit right about the guy being hypocrite but in this case I think his being pretentious because he was doing what people would think he should do, like always being good and forgiving and… Read more »

My god.

A novel with a gong as the MC + No power imbalance and both MC and ML are almost equal in power +No Black belly that is way too OP with cool attitude bla bla bla that almost makes them flat in terms of character + both of them are idiots who comically thinks highly of themselves.

Holy cow, I think I just found a new favorite. I can’t wait when they actually get together because how would that even work?

Also someone heavily implied in the NU spoiler thread that they're reversible Aaaahhh

I wonder if because of the way he was raised due to the great fate he has is what made him so narcissistic?
