Everyday I Get up to See the Villain Stealing the Show 87

Han Changsheng crawled back to his room with a dark expression. Before long, he heard a knock outside the door. After two long and three quick knocks, the sound stopped——Han Changsheng knew this was a secret cue from Hua Xiaoshuang.

Han Changsheng immediately went out of the door. First, he secretly touched An Yuan’s door and peered through the crack. An Yuan was pacing through the room, his expression sometimes sad, sometimes angry, and sometimes shy. Finally, he covered his face and sat down at the table.

Han Changsheng wanted to cry without tears and went downstairs.

Hua Xiaoshuang waited for Han Changsheng outside the inn.

When Han Changsheng saw Hua Xiaoshuang, he got angry and said, “Who asked you to talk nonsense for me?!”

Stunned, Hua Xiaoshuang asked, “Did you hear what An Yuan, and I said just now?”

Han Changsheng snorted, his face twisted with anger.

Hua Xiaoshuang sneered, “Since you heard it, it’s better. What do you mean, talking nonsense for you? Should I speak for you or for me? You were out there picking flowers and trampling the grass, and that’s all fine, but you were wearing my face! Are you screwing me over, or working for my welfare?”

It dumbfounded Han Changsheng for a moment.

Seeing that he was not without a guilty conscience, Hua Xiaoshuang pressed his hands to his hips and grew more and more arrogant. “When you did that, you were still using my face. You were just… Why didn’t you use Luo Xin’s face? Why didn’t you use Gu Mingxiao’s face?”

With a sheepish smile, Han Changsheng whispered, “It’s not their turn yet…”

Hua Xiaoshuang stared at him. Han Changsheng didn’t speak. After a while, he remembered that he was the leader of the cult, and it was shameful to be scolded by the hall master under him. He immediately stood up and said, “It’s not your place to question what the Head of the Cult is doing!”

Hua Xiaoshuang squinted. Lazily, he said, “Okay, I meant nothing by it. I just want to know what, exactly, the leader wants to do?”

Han Changsheng said, “I… I… I have my own plan!”

Hua Xiaoshuang stared at him for a while, then sighed and laughed. “Cult leader, I’ve grown up with you since I was a child. The only people who know you better than me are Lu Qingqian and Lu Baibi. However, they have nothing in their heads, and you have fooled them every single time…”

If only you had no brains like them. Han Changsheng thought silently.

Then, Hua Xiaoshuang said, “If I have no brains like them, would the Tianning Cult have any hope?”

Han Changsheng choked on his breath and asked, “Doesn’t the hope of the Tianning Cult lie on its leader?”

“…” Hua Xiaoshuang: “Ha ha.”

Han Changsheng touched his face, feeling guilty. Awkwardly, he said, “In a few words, you should just leave and give me some time. I will definitely come back when I’m done.”

Hua Xiaoshuang said, “If you don’t tell me exactly what you want to do, I won’t go. Not unless you go back with me!”

“I… I…” Han Changsheng felt as if his head could explode. Hua Xiaoshuang was the most difficult person in the Tianning Cult. It will definitely not be easy to send him away. He had to find a specific set of words that would work for him. An idea coming to mind, Han Changsheng suddenly said, “Because I want to become the leader of the Wulin!”

It stunned Hua Xiaoshuang. Suspecting that something was wrong with his ears, he asked, “What… What?”

Han Changsheng opened his mind, and suddenly inspiration gushed forwards. “Since you also went to the Wulin Conference, you should’ve heard about Lu Honghua’s request. As long as you can fulfill two conditions, you can become the leader of the Wulin.”

“First, defeat one or a group of villains who endanger the nation. Second, get the approval of three elders. Now I’m going to kill the hitmen of the Ying Yue Sect.”

He was half truthful. He deliberately mentioned the Ying Yue Sect in front of An Yuan because of Lu Honghua’s request. There was no doubt that the Ying Yue Sect was in line with Lu Honghua’s definition of a villain. As long as the Ying Yue Sect could be defeated, it would fulfill the condition. However, he didn’t intend to do it himself. He intended to give An Yuan full credit, which he naturally wouldn’t tell Hua Xiaoshuang.

Han Changsheng looked as if he was heartbroken at the demonic cult. He said, “For many years, the right way of the Wulin has caused trouble for our Tianning Cult. I can’t bear it, so I intended to solve the problem with a single stroke. If I can become the leader of the Wulin Alliance and divide the right way of the Wulin so they can no longer stir up trouble for us, wouldn’t it be over once and for all?”

Hua Xiaoshuang raised his eyebrows in surprise. He really didn’t expect Han Changsheng to say that. He knew that Han Changsheng had never said such aspirational things in his life. When he was back home with the Tianning Cult, the things he cared most about were, “What will we eat tonight?”, “I’m tired of the cook’s food on the mountain. Can we go down the mountain to eat?”, “I’ve heard the people in Shushan are beautiful, I want to see.” and so on.

Seeing Hua Xiaoshuang’s shock, Han Changsheng realized that his “ambition” had deterred him. Triumphantly, he said, “Don’t be too moved. After all, I’m your leader. This is what I should do.”

The corners of Hua Xiaoshuang’s mouth twitched. “You? Be the leader of the Wulin? Why are you taking An Yuan to the Ying Yue Sect? Or… Do you want him to be the leader of the Wulin?”

Han Changsheng was taken aback. Hua Xiaoshuang was so clever that he broke into his mind with a single word. He didn’t dare show it on his face, though, and rebuked, “What nonsense! How can I give up the position of the Wulin Alliance leader to An Yuan? I took him because he had a unique mental skill in the Tianyuan Mountain Villa. Since the old man Xuanji passed on to me his internal power; I had the risk of Qi deviation at any random time, so I took him with me.”

Hua Xiaoshuang was full of disbelief.

Han Changsheng vowed, “I… I… Think about it! I’ve been laying the groundwork for my plan since a very long time ago. First, I killed both the evil Yin and Yang Sha Twins, then I deceived elder Lan Fang and old man Xuanji of the Yuehua Sect.”

“They taught me swordsmanship skills and passed their internal skills to me. I helped the Mingyue Sect discover the real murderer of their elders. I made a big show at the Wulin Assembly. I took the son of the current Wulin Alliance leader into consideration!”

“These days, An Yuan is just by my side. If I wanted to establish a romantic relationship with him, we would’ve done those things long ago.”

As Han Changsheng spoke, his heart bled. It’s not that he actually wanted to give An Yuan the credit, but because of the gods who threatened him with everyone’s fates.

It stunned Hua Xiaoshuang. His expression gradually became skeptical. Han Changsheng said all that, so there had to be some truth.

Han Changsheng was heartbroken. “Don’t you believe me? Do you know how hard I’ve worked?”

Finally, Hua Xiaoshuang asked, “Then why did you change your appearance to those of us from the sect? Why do you constantly change?”

Han Changsheng licked his lips. “Well… It’s for you to show your faces in the world. I’ll be the leader of the Wulin in the future. It’s so you’ll have an identity in the Wulin.”

Hua Xiaoshuang thought for a while and said, “That actually made sense.”

Han Changsheng angrily said, “Why wouldn’t it make sense, what I said is the truth. I’m painstakingly doing all of this. If you understand me, you’d better make yourself scarce. Don’t mess things up for me!”

Hua Xiaoshuang raised his eyebrows and said with a smile, “How am I messing things for you? I’m not Xiaoqing or Xiaobai. Since the leader has such a grand plan, I have to help him as his subordinate. Naturally, I’ll stay with you and help you out.”

Han Changsheng gasped. No matter who came from the four Halls, be it Gu Mingxiao, Du Yuefei, or Luo Xin, Han Changsheng would probably let them tag along, but Hua Xiaoshuang couldn’t stay. He had done too many things with Hua Xiaoshuang’s face. If Hua Xiaoshuang stayed with An Yuan… No, no, no, absolutely not!

Hua Xiaoshuang couldn’t help but say, as his final input, “That’s all.” After that, regardless of Han Changsheng’s reaction, he turned around and walked upstairs to his room.

Han Changsheng chased after his ass, “You can’t do this. Listen to me, you will ruin my…”

The door above them suddenly opened, and An Yuan came out of his room. Seeing Han Changsheng and Hua Xiaoshuang walking up the stairs side by side, he was startled. Han Changsheng fell silent as Hua Xiaoshuang beamed at An Yuan. “You have a good rest.”

An Yuan was silent and said, “You two have a really good relationship.”

Han Changsheng didn’t know where An Yuan’s thoughts were going, so he could only laugh.

When Han Changsheng passed by An Yuan, An Yuan suddenly asked him, “Luo Weiwu, he called you big brother. Are you his elder brother?”

Startled, Han Changsheng frantically waved his hands. “No, no, no. How can I be his elder brother? Hua Xiaosa calls me big brother only because I am a few years older than him. Our elder brother is someone else.” The identity of the bad big brother he had laid for so long was not intended for Luo Xin.

Hua Xiaoshuang was about to enter the room. Hearing this, he stopped and looked at them with some confusion, but he said nothing. He pushed open the door to the room.

Han Changsheng didn’t dare say anymore and ran back to his room.

The next morning, the three went downstairs for breakfast. Han Changsheng asked An Yuan, “What are your next plans?”

An Yuan looked at Hua Xiaoshuang.

Hua Xiaoshuang took a leisurely sip of tea. “Brother Luo is going to take revenge on the Ying Yue Sect. I want to go with him. How about you, An Yuan?”

An Yuan said, “I have no other place to go. In this case, I’ll go with you.”

Han Changsheng grabbed a baozi and stuffed it into his mouth. Why didn’t he notice that An Yuan paid so much attention to “Hua Xiaosa”? He would go wherever “Hua Xiaosa” went? Didn’t he have a problem with him just three days before? He helped “Hua Xiaosa” adjust his internal flow after having dragged on for more than half a year, but then everything turned into a mess.

After breakfast, the three went to the town to buy some small supplies. When An Yuan went into the store to pick up some things, Han Changsheng went to Hua Xiaoshuang. Gritting his teeth, he said, “You’re still unwilling to leave?”

Hua Xiaoshuang said, “I’m going to find out what you’re planning, then I will leave on my own.”

Han Changsheng’s head was about to explode.

An Yuan left the shop to see them whispering together again and was startled. His expression was strange. “You’re really close to each other, like brothers.”

Han Changsheng laughed again. “Yes, yes.”

Hua Xiaoshuang’s eyes dropped, and a funny smile appeared at the corner of his lips. He suddenly, intimately hooked his arm around Han Changsheng’s shoulders and said, “It’s natural. I never told you this, but Brother Luo and I grew up together since childhood. I know him so well,  down to how many moles he has and where they are on his body. Even brothers are not as close as we are.”

An Yuan was surprised. The bag in his hand fell to the ground and the fruits he bought rolled out. He squatted down to pick it up and Hua Xiaoshuang and Han Changsheng rushed to help. An Yuan grabbed a fruit, and Hua Xiaoshuang grabbed An Yuan’s hand. An Yuan froze and looked up at Hua Xiaoshuang. Hua Xiaoshuang gave him a dazzling grin.

“Kacha.” Han Changsheng crushed a fruit.

Hua Xiaoshuang released An Yuan, then went to Han Changsheng. Looking at his hand full of fruit pulp, Hua Xiaoshuang shook his head. He took out a handkerchief from his arms and carefully wiped it for him. “Brother Luo, although you are very good at martial arts, you should control your strength. I still remember when we were children, and we would play martial arts. Your heavy hand would accidentally hit me, and I would bite my tongue and spit out a mouthful of blood. You hugged me and I cried. Even here and now, I still find it a peril.”

There were still many fruits on the ground that hadn’t been picked up, but An Yuan rose in a hurry and said, “Let’s go back.”

Han Changsheng watched An Yuan’s retreating figure, then looked at Hua Xiaoshuang inexplicably. “You did that deliberately.”

Hua Xiaoshuang didn’t rush to put away the veil. “Now, I’m doing it deliberately.”

Han Changsheng was taken aback. “What now?” After he spoke, he looked at An Yuan, who had now gone far away, and snapped to Hua Xiaoshuang. “You son of a bitch. Get out of here now!”

Getting up, he ran after An Yuan.

Lord An Yuan is going to figure it out. HCS didn’t cover his hands and their hands will look different not to mention their behavior.
