Everyday I Get up to See the Villain Stealing the Show 74

Han Changsheng went back to his room to go to bed. However, he was surprised to see that An Yuan, who should have been in deep slumber, had disappeared!

Where had An Yuan gone?

Han Changsheng turned to look for him, only to see An Yuan standing quietly behind him. It would have been alright during the day, but in the middle of the night, he was like a ghost. It scared Han Changsheng to high heavens. If Han Changsheng was frozen stiff in the middle of the night, it was because he was scared to death.

Patting An Yuan’s chest, Han Changsheng said, “Where have you been?”

An Yuan lit the oil lamp at the head of the bed and said, “I heard what you and my Shidi said just now.”

Han Changsheng was stunned and immediately recalled whether he said something he shouldn’t have to Liu Xiaoqi.

An Yuan sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed softly. “I had no idea Xiaoqi had been through all that.”

“What are your thoughts?” Han Changsheng asked.

An Yuan said, “If what Xiaoqi said is true… I don’t know if the Xiu Daomen really killed my father. Now that they are all dead, Xiaoqi has nothing to do with this matter. I will not be angry with him.”

“However,” He went on, “I always thought there was something strange about all of it. According to his words, the Xiu Daomen have not offended anyone. He even suspected that I sent the murderers. Then, is it possible that the murderers sent to exterminate Xiu Daomen had something to do with what happened fifteen years ago? Is it possible that the man who killed Xiaoqi’s people was the same as the man who killed my father? And the reason the Xiu Daomen were killed is that they knew the truth of that year?”

Han Changsheng nodded. He and An Yuan came to the same conclusion.

It wasn’t so much that he speculated that was what happened, it was better to say that he wanted it to be so. After searching from the west to the east and back again, he had taken the matter as his own problem. If the murderer was dead, so long as he could discover the truth, he would always feel that nothing was missing. If he didn’t find the real murderer and unleash vengeance, he would be upset with the amount of effort he spent these days! For An Yuan, this idea was even more ardent. After all, this was his father. Over the years, he hated the demonic cult to the bone and wanted revenge. Now, it was even worse to learn that his hatred over the past ten years had been misguided. If the murderer was dead, the evil malice in his heart would be like throwing a hard first on cotton, uncomfortable, unable to be released properly.

Han Changsheng sat down next to An Yuan, yawned, and said, “After searching for a long time, we finally connected the dots to the Xiu Daomen, and it turned out to be a headless path. Tell me, did your father offend anyone? Who was it? Would it have been better if Xiu Daomen was behind it?”

An Yuan was stunned, his expression in a trance. After a moment, he turned his eyes away and shook his head. “No.”

Han Changsheng said, “Forget it, it’s midnight. Sleep first. You can think about it during the day, I’m sleepy.” After that, he turned over to the bed and went to sleep.

An Yuan was no longer sleepy. After a while, he got up to put out the light, but suddenly stopped and turned back to the bedside. He looked at Han Changsheng’s face with the faint light of the fire.

He remembered the conversation between Han Changsheng and Liu Xiaoqi. Liu Xiaoqi’s envious manner and words made him feel arrogance and pride. Was Han Changsheng really that dedicated to him?

Finally, after tossing and turning for a long time, An Yuan fell asleep.

After such an evening, the two didn’t get up until the sun was three poles high. Once they’d finished breakfast, An Yuan said, “Let’s go to Liu Xiaoqi.”

Han Changsheng said, “Alright.”

If he let An Yuan and Liu Xiaoqi communicate directly, maybe they could discover useful information.

Stepping out the door, they went to the inn where the Yuehua Sect had settled down. Unexpectedly, they hadn’t gone far when a familiar voice behind them called, “Stop!”

Han Changsheng looked back and suddenly felt a thump in his heart: It was none other than Lu Wenlin!

Lu Wenlin spent a day inquiring and finally found the place where Han Changsheng and An Yuan stayed. The two were very mysterious. They usually covered their faces when they went to the challenge arena, and after they left, they would change their faces. Even those that stayed in the same inn did not know that they were the masked double swordsmen who had been in the limelight recently. Lu Wenlin also found them out through their martial arts skills. In fact, he wanted to find them at the end of the challenge arena the day before. It was for that reason that he had delayed a day’s work. He arrived and just happened to see Han Changsheng and An Yuan heading out.

Lu Wenlin lunged forward, staring at Han Changsheng’s eyes as bright as stars in the night. “Goddess, I finally found you guys!”

Han Changsheng pretended to be ignorant. “Who are you?”

Lu Wenlin said, “Do not pretend!” He reached out as if to tear off Han Changsheng’s face.

Han Changsheng jumped back in shock and slapped Lu Wenlin’s hand. “What are you doing?”

Lu Wenlin didn’t care. It didn’t matter to him how Han Changsheng looked. He only cared about having a proper match, ah!

Lu Wenlin said, “Have a good match with me!”

An Yuan stepped forward and said, “Young Master Lu, we have something to do. I’m afraid we can’t fight today.”

Han Changsheng rolled his eyes. He wanted to pretend that he didn’t know the troublesome guy, Lu Wenlin, but the Dog Lord just had to admit their identity. No way, he had no choice but to be perfunctory. “Want to fight? Later, I have no time to talk to you now!”

Of course, Lu Wenlin would not let them out of his sight. He grabbed Han Changsheng and said, “You pack the social column. Say no more! I’ll go with you!”

Han Changsheng wrung his teeth with the mouthful of Baoji words. “You say what, pinch? Say human words.”

Lu Wenlin immediately changed into a righteous and awe-inspiring attitude. In a grand tone, he said, “Don’t try to get rid of me today! I want to learn from you!”

Han Changsheng puffed air from the corner of his mouth. “So, you can speak people? Then, why do you always take a mouthful of Baoji?”

Lu Wenlin touched his head. “My father said that I was the son of the leader of the leader of the Wulin Alliance, so I had to be a bit intimidating.”

This time, Han Changshen and An Yuan snorted a puff of air at the same time. Baoji dialect… Bit intimidating? As a deterrent? The young master’s opinion was very unique.

Lu Wenlin pestered Han Changsheng and refused to let him go. Han Changsheng really could not take him to Liu Xiaoqi. There were already people watching on the way. After what happened in the challenge arena the day before, Han Changsheng wanted to hide and keep a low profile. No one should pay attention to him. If someone recognized Lu Wenlin, it would be like a signboard with big characters. He had to pull Lu Wenlin away. “First, let’s go to a quiet place to talk.”

Lu Wenlin’s eyes lit up. “Follow me!”

The son of the Wulin Alliance leader, Lu Wenlin was very familiar with the Kunlun Mountain. He had already been around seven or eight times. As expected, he brought Han Changsheng and An Yuan to a clean, uninhabited broad land, which was very suitable for a martial arts match.

No one noticed a figure clad in yellow and white flashing quietly behind a tree.

Lu Wenlin couldn’t wait and began to rub his hands. “Come on!”

Han Changsheng looked at An Yuan. An Yuan didn’t have any opinion on a competition between the two of them. It was just a contest of martial arts. He felt that there was nothing wrong with a match. For him, it was a blessing just to watch the two masters compete. Han Changsheng, on the other hand, didn’t think so. It was a very complicated thing to fight with Lu Wenlin, which called for a lot of consideration.

Lu Wenlin was undoubtedly a good chess piece to use. If used properly, he might add fuel to his plan. If he didn’t use it well, he would be a token of bad luck. First of all, if he lost, if he couldn’t beat Lu Wenlin, then An Yuan couldn’t beat Lu Wenlin. And if An Yuan lost, Lu Wenlin wouldn’t fight him again.

An Yuan had been pitted by him before. If he could get his consent, he could let everyone know. He could also take back a city for An Yuan, so he couldn’t lose. However, if he won, there was something to pay attention to. Although he didn’t know what happened yesterday, he did beat An Yuan with one move. If he and Lu Wenlin were equally matched and he managed to win, he was afraid Lu Wenlin wouldn’t look up to An Yuan. It was better to beat Lu Wenlin down with one move, but how to do it? He fought with Lu Wenlin before, and the martial maniac was not a weak opponent.

“Are you ready?” Lu Wenlin asked.

Impatiently, Han Changsheng asked, “What’s the hurry?”

Lu Wenlin frowned. “Hurry up, or I’ll attack first!”

Han Changsheng ignored him, too busy thinking of the day before. Yesterday, it really puzzled him. At the time, like he was possessed, a powerful force poured into his body in an instant, and his limbs were manipulated. Subjectively, he didn’t want to fight An Yuan. Was it a celestial being? The celestials were supposed to back An Yuan. How could they be the ones to help him defeat the Dog Lord?

Han Changsheng hesitated and refused to move, and Lu Wenlin grew too impatient. He shouted a lot and raised his knife at Han Changsheng, then made a big move, relying on a quick speed to create a sword mirage. Han Changsheng suddenly panicked. If he was absorbed, he might not be able to see Lu Wenlin’s movements, but he still thought about how he could reproduce what happened the day before. He strained to speak in front of the dazzling blade. He only felt Lu Wenlin’s knife spirit coming to his face, and the sword in his hand didn’t know where to stab.

Oh, no!

Han Changsheng’s eyelids jumped violently, his breath disordered. He was about to retreat and reorganize when the sword in his hand stabbed out without his input. But, in a flash, the phantom vanished. The sword in Han Changsheng’s hand was pointing at Lu Wenlin’s eyebrow, slightly puncturing his skin. A few drops of blood slid down his brow.

Lu Wenlin’s expression was dull, An Yuan’s was shocked, and Han Changsheng’s own was split by thunder.

You’re in the middle of being possessed! This is possession!

Han Changsheng took back his sword, but before he could be pleased with the victory, he had to turn and look around. It was as alike as two peas with what happened the day before! Was there a god helping him from the shadows? But, where were the gods?! Was this how his journey to become immortal began?! Luo Xin once said that you must cultivate to become immortal. Was this a sudden enlightenment?

No one saw it, but the mysterious man behind the tree licked his finger, his eyes glowing with excitement.

Lu Wenlin took a step back and lightly touched the small wound on his eyebrow. Contemplating for a moment, he said, “Come again!”

Han Changsheng didn’t have the room to refuse, Lu Wenlin was already in the proper posture. This time, Han Changsheng took it seriously. Lu Wenlin moved again. His movement wasn’t as gorgeous as before, and the scattered illusions were all gone. He stabbed Han Changsheng with his knife, but Han Changsheng brought up his sword to block it. Lu Wenlin approached Han Changsheng, and suddenly the knife in his hand shook. Han Changsheng was surprised.

Lu Wenlin had incredible speed. He relied on it to create illusions to deter his opponents.

This time, although he didn’t choose to move widely, his shaking made the knife seem to have three sharp points. And although the scope wasn’t large, it may still be enough to change the whole situation. Han Changsheng held his breath. He was about to stab out with his sword when suddenly, he felt as light as a flower. When he woke up, the knife in Lu Wenlin’s hand had fallen to the ground, and his sword rested against Lu Wenlin’s neck.

The three people present were shocked again!

Han Changsheng took back his sword, and Lu Wenlin staggered back to look at his knife. Twice, he was defeated by Han Changsheng twice in a row. The most important thing was that he didn’t see how Han Changsheng moved his hand, just like he moved in an instant. He had always been proud of his speed, but in front of Han Changsheng, it was useless. Han Changsheng’s martial arts was really superb!

In a puzzled tone, Han Changsheng asked, “You… Do you want to fight again?”

Lu Wenlin shook his head and wryly laughed, “Even if we fight, the result will be the same.”

“Oh.” Han Changsheng was relieved.

“But I will challenge you again! Soon! As long as I have made progress, I will come to you again!” In a twinkle of an eye, Lu Wenlin’s spirit returned and he looked at Han Changsheng with great energy.

Han Changsheng finally had a chance to say what he wanted to say, “If you want to fight with me again, you should beat An Yuan first!”

Lu Wenlin looked at An Yuan. He did not understand what happened to the two men. Han Changsheng had said that An Yuan was his young master and that his martial arts were above him. Now, he suddenly changed. However, no matter what the truth was, he was sure that Han Changsheng’s martial arts were far above An Yuan’s!

“I won’t compete with him!” Lu Wenlin pointed to Han Changsheng and said, “You are the most powerful person I’ve seen in my life! According to our fight today, even my father is not your opponent. If you mark your rank according to martial arts, you are the leader of the Wulin Alliance! I, Lu Wenlin, vow from today on, that I won’t fight anyone other than you! My long-cherished wish in life is to find a peerless master and regard him as my lifelong goal. Today, I have found him! I will live with you as my goal all my life. My blade belongs to you, alone!”

Han Changsheng was stunned. What, what? No more fighting with anyone but him? What about An Yuan?!

“What the…” Han Changsheng was about to open his mouth when Lu Wenlin grabbed his hair and sliced off a chunk of it.

He said, “If you violate this agreement, I will announce it to the whole world!”

It stunned Han Changsheng.

After Lu Wenlin finished his cruel words, he quickly turned around and left.

Han Changsheng rubbed his forehead in despair. Was there anyone else in the world who had taken such medicine?

One letter can make such a big difference xD Also good to know that HCS has a much better memory than me – he actually remembers which name he told An Yuan! that is … much more than I can say about myself xD So An Yuan is now gone. Was I actually right for once and he followed them? Can I hope? Hahaha,… Read more »

Who is the guy in yellow and why does he help HCS? Is he trying to destroy Lord An Yuan’s fate?

Could it be, the man in yellow is the horse man he saved? And he is controlling it through the piece of wood that he lent him? However, his behavior seems very different from what we saw from the last time they met.

To cut a lock of his hair, now he just need to put it in a silk bag with he’s, and it will be like a wedding!!!
