Han Changsheng spent the morning with An Yuan then hurried to Peach Valley after lunch. This was his fourth day of practice with Elder Lan Fang. Han Changsheng didn\u2019t the chance to speak as Lan Fang continued to pursue him. This time, he couldn\u2019t hide and could only stand still in hopes that Lan Fang would stop.<\/p>

Unexpectedly, he felt a dull pain on the back of his neck, and he lost consciousness.<\/p>

When Han Changsheng woke up again, he found himself in a strange place. His neck still hurt, so he rubbed it as he surveyed his surroundings. The lighting here was dim. The only light came from far above. Looking up, he realized there was a hole up there. A small hole high above by several feet, and it was sunlight that came in from up there. He estimated the distance, and it was too far, and the entry point too small.<\/p>

This underground area was wide, and he was in its center. There were strange plants, damp, green-black vines intertwining all around like a forest, layered even. It created a barrier, blocking his view of the walls. He tried to find another outlet but other than vines, there were only more vines.<\/p>

Han Changsheng was so angry that he shouted up at the hole, \u201cHey! Is anybody there! What is this damn place?!\u201d<\/p>

Elder Lan Fang said from beyond the hole, \u201cThat\u2019s the bottom of Peach Blossom Valley.\u201d<\/p>

Han Changsheng jerked. There was such a place under the Valley?<\/p>

He said quickly, \u201cElder, pull me up!\u201d<\/p>

Lan Fang: \u201cThere\u2019s an exit connected to the upper ground. Look for it yourself.\u201d<\/p>

This dumbfounded Han Changsheng. There were vines everywhere. Even if there were exits, the vines covered them. Where could he find the entrance?<\/p>

Han Changsheng asked, \u201cIs the exit behind the vines?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cCorrect.\u201d<\/p>

Han Changsheng was caught in the hysterical point between wanting to cry and wanting to laugh. This old man was trying to come up with ways to train him? Have him cut the vines? Here, if he asked for help, the old man wouldn\u2019t. He could only pretend to look for a while to satisfy the old man.<\/p>

He chopped for a while, bored, but didn\u2019t bother with many vines. From the light passing through the hole above, it was growing late.<\/p>

He managed to cut enough for where five people could stand. If he knew the distance and direction, he could estimate the time, but now he knew nothing. He could only cut mindlessly. If he wanted to cut all the vines in here, don\u2019t even mention a few days, it would take months and maybe even years.
