Berlin had a rare clear sky the next day. Cool wind blew over the Spree River, sweeping away the summer\u2019s dry heat.<\/p>

However, Qi Mu wasn\u2019t comfortable for long. By noon, the hot sun brought someone unexpected along with the scorching heat\u2014\u2014<\/p>

Akkad.<\/p>

When he received the call, Qi Mu was sitting in the Bai Ai\u2019s rehearsal hall, listening to the third movement of \u300aSymphony No. 6\u300b.<\/p>

Fortunately, his phone was on silent, so he stepped out. He barely opened his mouth to speak when he heard Akkad\u2019s cold hum, \u201cLittle Seven, I\u2019m at Tegel Airport<\/a>. Where are you?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu, doubting his hearing for the first time: \u201c…\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu asked, \u201cProfessor… Where did you say you were?\u201d<\/p>

The answer came twenty minutes later.<\/p>

In the blink of an eye, the old man was at Qi Mu\u2019s side.\u00a0<\/p>

Neither his appearance nor his awkward temper had changed in their two months apart. He still raised his eyebrows the same way when he got angry.<\/p>

\u201cLittle Seven! After a round of preaching, Akkad heaved a long sigh and said, \u201cLittle Seven, Teacher has only been gone for two months, and you really got together with that devil?\u201d<\/p>

The word \u201cDevil\u201d was too familiar. Qi Mu couldn\u2019t help but think of Daniel\u2019s words.\u00a0<\/p>

He didn\u2019t answer.<\/p>

When the old man repeated the question, Qi Mu looked up at his professor and sighed.<\/p>

Gently, he said, \u201cProfessor… Min Chen isn\u2019t as bad as you think. I know he\u2019s not perfect, but I like him.\u201d<\/p>

Still, Akkad couldn\u2019t stop himself. \u201cLittle Seven… You see, this Auston is so bad. He deceived you once; he can do it again and again.\u201d<\/p>

The handsome young man wore a calm smile. Silently, he thought, \u201cIn fact, he lied to me twice yesterday.\u201d<\/em> On the surface, he said, \u201cBut professor, I believe he will be good to me. And, I will be good to him. Even if he lied to me… It must be for a reason. He won\u2019t harm me.\u201d<\/p>

Akkad was at a loss for words.<\/p>

Seeing the old man\u2019s bewilderment, Qi Mu recalled the first time he met the professor. Akkad had just picked up a chocolate and gazed at it, the words \u201cI\u2019m just going to taste it for you\u201d<\/em> plastered across his face.<\/p>

His heart warm, Qi Mu said, \u201cProfessor, I hope… Can you bless us, please?\u201d<\/p>

No one could bear rejecting such a sensible and clever child, especially with eyes full of expectation. Even Akkad couldn\u2019t deny him.<\/p>

When Min Chen got the news from Daniel and ran to find Qi Mu, he saw Akkad already standing beside him. Hesitating, he went over to them.<\/p>

\u201cLong time no see, Reed.\u201d The man\u2019s voice resounded in the quiet corridor.\u00a0<\/p>

When Qi Mu turned to him, he saw the striking man walk towards him, calm and composed.<\/p>

Immediately, Qi Mu had a bad premonition. Heart lurching, he turned to look at his mentor\u2014\u2014<\/p>

\u201cAuston, you bastard! You still dare appear in front of me after leading my student astray?!!!\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu covered his face, powerless. \u201c…\u201d<\/p>

Raising his eyebrows, Min Chen asked, \u201cThen, Qi Mu and I will go first?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu didn\u2019t see his mentor or Min Chen again for the rest of the afternoon. They went to talk somewhere Qi Mu didn\u2019t know and couldn\u2019t find. So, he stopped trying and minded his own business like he did at Farrell\u2019s house.<\/p>

Min Chen let the orchestra practice by themselves. Under Christole\u2019s arrangement, they formed an ensemble and practiced separately with their group chiefs.<\/p>

Since Qi Mu planned to just watch Bai Ai rehearsing, he had left his violin at Min Chen\u2019s house. But, Christole was enthusiastic about letting Qi Mu play his spare violin for the first violin group.<\/p>

Christole had long known since Qi Mu was Akkad\u2019s student, and he had received a 9.5 from Min Chen, his violin was bound to be exceptional. But, when he heard Qi Mu\u2019s third movement of \u300aSymphony No. 6\u300b, a glimmer of surprise still colored his gaze. He applauded him wholeheartedly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The afternoon ended with Qi Mu and Christole\u2019s mutual consultation. The members of the first violin group could only watch as their concertmaster, and the little angel spoke to each other without giving them a chance to join in.<\/p>

When the two began to talk about Caprice 24<\/a>, someone finally couldn\u2019t help but interject, \u201cStop! Christole… We\u2019re supposed to practice \u300aNo. 6\u300b today…\u201d<\/p>

Once one began, the others followed\u2014\u2014<\/p>

\u201cYeah, I\u2019ve practically never touched Paganini since I left college. Those are nightmares!\u201d<\/p>

\u201cOh please, can that even compare to me?! I\u2019ve practiced all 24 caprices<\/a> in my four years of college!!!\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu turned.<\/p>

The sunset acting as his backdrop, a tall man stood at the door of the rehearsal hall, looking at him. He looked like he\u2019d been waiting for a long time. Qi Mu couldn\u2019t help but return the tenderness in his smile.<\/p>

Before he could meet Min Chen, his professor appeared behind him. Looking at him, his professor shouted, \u201cLittle Seven, hurry and pack your stuff…\u201d<\/p>
