They were a match made in heaven.<\/p>

That sentence suddenly flashed through Zheng Wei Qiao\u2019s mind.<\/p>

It wasn\u2019t because of their appearance or background. When these two sat together, Zheng Wei Qiao felt the two were in their own world, and no one else deserved to enter that space.<\/p>

That night, Min Chen, Qi Mu, Zheng Wei Qiao, and his wife parted in front of the cafe.<\/p>

Zheng Wei Qiao still couldn\u2019t bring himself from the shock. It was Zhao Yue who blessed them with a smile and gave them suggestions for their future. She also apologized for her husband, who couldn\u2019t turn his head.<\/p>

Farrell\u2019s house was a few kilometers from the opera house, but the thought didn\u2019t seem to occur to Qi Mu as the idea to take the subway didn\u2019t even occur to him. Instead, he walked the quiet street hand-in-hand with the man beside him.<\/p>

The moonlight descended upon them while Qi Mu spoke in a quiet voice, and Min Chen listened attentively.<\/p>

Over the past two weeks, he was ignored by Qi Mu, Farrell and Jenny had taken matters into their own hands and spoken well of him using words like \u201cgentle, talented, and trustworthy.\u201d Min Chen pondered carefully for a moment then said, \u201cI need to thank them?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu: \u201cWhat?\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen replied with a smile in his eyes, \u201cNeed to thank them. . . for letting you get to know the real me.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mi: \u201c. . . What about your face?\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen\u2019s lips curled, and he chuckled without replying.<\/p>

When they arrived at Farrell\u2019s house, Qi Mu suddenly remembered, \u201cDidn\u2019t you say you wanted to visit Mr. Farrell and Mrs. Audrey tonight? Do you want to go upstairs with me?\u201d<\/p>

But Min Chen shook his head, \u201cI haven\u2019t told Mrs. Audrey yet. I\u2019ll call and visit tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>

\u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

After a moment of silence, Qi Mu feigned anger, \u201cYou lied to me?\u201d<\/p>

In response, Min Chen raised an eyebrow. \u201cNo, I want to bring a gift to express my sincerity.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu was startled: \u201cWhat does that mean?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu knew that Min Chen and Mr. Farrell had known each other for over a decade. They had a good relationship and were familiar with each other. During the duration of his stay here, Mrs. Audrey found out he knew Min Chen and even said\u2014\u2014<\/p>

\u201cI don\u2019t know when Auston will have the time to come again. He\u2019s such a polite boy.\u201d<\/p>

So, even if Min Chen went upstairs right now, empty-handed, the couple wouldn\u2019t be angry and would welcome him with open arms instead.<\/p>

Min Chen coughed softly twice and said, \u201cI need to bring gifts and deliver a card in advance. Because. . .\u201d He halted abruptly, and Qi Mu looked at him even more doubtfully.<\/p>

Min Chen looked at Qi Mu. \u201cBecause I want to thank Mr. Farrell and Mrs. Audrey for taking care of my lover.\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen deliberately emphasized the words \u201cmy lover,\u201d making the youth\u2019s fair cheeks bloom red. Qi Mu\u2019s face was hot, and to prevent this abominable guy from seeing them, he turned his face away.<\/p>

Mr. Farrell\u2019s house was on the banks of the Elbe River. The wind blew over the lake, and the silver moonlight sparkled on its surface. As he turned sideways, Qi Mu happened to stand facing the wind. And so the damp evening wind quickly messed up his hair.<\/p>

Even so, Qi Mu was determined not to face the man again.<\/p>

Although neither of them spoke, Min Chen wasn\u2019t embarrassed at all. He just watched the young man who stubbornly faced the other way, and a sentence flashed through his mind\u2014\u2014<\/p>

Was this shyness?<\/p>

No, not shyness, because. . .<\/p>

His hand wasn\u2019t shaken off yet.<\/p>

Min Chen wasn\u2019t left to wait for long. The youth beside him whispered, \u201cYes, thank you for being so respectful to Zheng-ge just now, for his. . . Well, for not being angry with his misunderstanding.\u201d Qi Mu still remembered clearly that he\u2019d laughed out loud when he saw Min Chen covered in lily petals like steamed bread.<\/p>

Min Chen held Qi Mu\u2019s hand even more tightly and whispered, \u201cI respect him a lot because he takes care of you. He\u2019s very good to you.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu realized he should have taken his hand from the man\u2019s grip, but no matter what he did, Min Chen\u2019s fingers had turned into the world\u2019s strongest lock.<\/p>

In the end, he simply accepted the reality. He turned around and hummed, \u201cWhat you said to Zheng-ge just now. . .That was pretty good. . .\u201d His voice slowly lowered and eventually became as low as a mosquito\u2019s buzz.<\/p>

With a voice so faint mixed with the wind, it was almost inaudible. However, the person standing before Qi Mu was Min Chen. The young man\u2019s voice reached his ears, softening his indifferent face.<\/p>

Min Chen hummed as a reply: \u201cI don\u2019t only speak well. Later. . . I will also do so well.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu\u2019s heart warmed, and he immediately realized the difference between them\u2014\u2014<\/p>

The man\u2019s face was definitely thicker than the Great Wall!<\/p>

A muffled squeak came from his throat, and Qi Mu suddenly remembered, \u201cHow did you know I would exit from that door today? I went to the Semperoper in advance and searched for ages for that door. How did you get there faster than I did?\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen smiled slightly, \u201cHow many times have you been to Semperoper?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu replied honestly, \u201cToday is. . . the second time. The orchestra held the rehearsal at Semperoper yesterday, so that was the first.\u201d After a pause, Qi Mu added, \u201cAs I told you in Hong Kong last year, I rarely listen to opera.\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen nodded slightly and spread his hands helplessly. \u201cSince that is the case. . . Then why do you think you know the Semperoper better than I do?\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu: \u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

\u201cAfter the opera ended, I waited at the front entrance for two minutes. Then I suddenly realized. . . How could someone so hellbent on avoiding me for half a month suddenly be okay with seeing me? So I waited for another three minutes until Farrell came out.\u201d<\/p>

Under the European street lamp, the blurry yellow light shone down on the two, creating ambiguously entangled shadows. Qi Mu raised his head, an ominous foreboding emerging in his heart, \u201c. . . So, you ran into Mr. Farrell?\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen casually raised his eyebrows. \u201cWould you go through the back door?\u201d<\/p>

\u201c. . .No.\u201d Because it wasn\u2019t hidden enough.<\/p>

Amusement flashed through Min Chen\u2019s eyes at the younger man\u2019s withered appearance, but he maintained a calm and collected expression. He nodded gently, his voice mellow as a cello, \u201cSo I went to the more hidden door and waited for another three minutes. . . And there you were.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu: \u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu finally understood the meaning of \u201cto make a fool of oneself\u201d today.<\/p>

It was a bit late after all, and Qi Mu was worried Farrell would fret if he went back any later. So after they exchanged a few more words, he decided to hurry upstairs to not worry Farrell and Audrey.<\/p>

But just as he was about to turn and leave, when he had only taken a single step, he was dragged back by the hand in the man\u2019s tight grasp.<\/p>

Qi Mu turned around, not knowing whether to laugh or cry at the suddenly stubborn guy. \u201cWell, it\u2019s almost 12. I\u2019m sure Mrs. Audrey will worry if I don\u2019t return now, Min Chen.\u201d<\/p>

Min Chen\u2019s grip gradually loosened, but just as Qi Mu thought the man was going to let him go, he was suddenly pulled forward without warning and collided with the man\u2019s chest.<\/p>

Qi Mu\u2019s eyes flew wide, but before he could say anything, a low, magnetic voice echoed in his ear, \u201cDon\u2019t move. There are bugs.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu automatically froze then he remembered: \u201cWait a minute, are you not afraid of bugs. . .\u201d<\/p>

His voice stopped abruptly when he felt a warm touch to his forehead. Qi Mu froze on the spot. When he realized what it was, he looked up, and his eyes met a distant, hidden, and deep gaze.<\/p>

Min Chen stared at the person in front of him for a long while in silence. \u201cWell, I was mistaken.\u201d<\/p>

Qi Mu: \u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

When Qi Mu went upstairs with his violin case, he didn\u2019t know the handsome, indifferent-looking man stood under the streetlamp and watched his figure disappear around the corner of the stairs.<\/p>

After a while, the man raised his hand and touched his lips as if he could still feel the wonderful sensation\u266a even now.<\/p>

. . .Well, it wouldn\u2019t be on the forehead next time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
