Azhang, however, was very optimistic. Although he hadn\u2019t seen the results of the rehearsal yet, just by looking at the designs Chen Qi had drawn, they were more than enough to attract the attention of the males.<\/span><\/p>

Days passed slowly in this uneventful yet extraordinarily busy routine. A wooden platform about half a person tall was built on the playground, the red-fruit trees in the tribe had grown to half a person\u2019s height, and large patches of potatoes had begun to bloom. Because of the lack of insects on the plains, Chen Qi led people in manually pollinating the entire area of flowering plants.
