Driving from T city to S city, J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu didn\u2019t go straight home, first dropping by a nearby supermarket.<\/p>

There wasn\u2019t much food at home and G\u01d4n G\u01d4n\u2019s cat food was almost finished. There was also some small household items that needed to be purchased.<\/p>

J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu and Ryan walked into the supermarket and it was rush hour, so there were many people in the market bustling about. You couldn\u2019t walk to and from anywhere.<\/p>

Fortunately, J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu wasn\u2019t in a hurry and she pushed the cart slowly alongside Ryan with an inexplicable sense of security.<\/p>

This novel experience was one she had never had. Before, when J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu and Ryan were together, it was a matter of hunting or be hunted.<\/p>

<\/a>Never had she thought they would walk hand in hand through the supermarket someday.<\/p>

With only a \u201cbang,\u201d the shopping cart rammed into the shelves and the goods were scattered across the floor.<\/p>

A mother led her child from across the way and constantly apologized toward J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu and Ryan.<\/p>

J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu didn\u2019t know what to say. She and Ryan had nothing to do with it, so she just smiled and said, \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter.\u201d<\/p>

After that, there was no mood to continue visiting the supermarket so J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu and Ryan went to buy G\u01d4n G\u01d4n\u2019s cat food, a pair of slippers, a toothbrush, towels, and other toiletries suitable for Ryan. Then they pushed the cart to the cashier ready to check out.<\/p>

There were many people at the registers, and J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu picked a relatively short line.<\/p>

Not waiting for her reaction, the cashier nodded without his face changing in the slightest, \u201cYes, just a moment.\u201d<\/p>

Then he took a few different boxes and carefully laid them out for Ryan. This one was strawberry flavored, that one was banana flavored, and the other was spiral-patterned. . .<\/p>

All the way to leaving the supermarket, J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu was still stupefied.<\/p>

Ryan was carrying the shopping bag in one hand and the other held J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu\u2019s small palm as they walked down the stairs. \u201cEh?\u201d<\/p>

She wanted to grab Ryan\u2019s hand and run when Mrs. J\u01d0 stood in the doorway, \u201cLittle Darling, how are you coming back now? G\u01d4n G\u01d4n was starving when we got here and you\u2019re father. . .\u201d<\/p>

J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu\u2019s head was spinning and her speech wasn\u2019t quick, \u201cMom, mother. . .\u201d<\/p>

Mrs. J\u01d0 waited for a moment and saw her standing motionlessly in the doorway, \u201cWhy aren\u2019t you coming in, still standing there with nothing to do?\u201d<\/p>

J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu: \u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

Her mother lifted her gaze and finally found Ryan standing behind J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu and she blurted out, \u201cWho\u2019s this?\u201d<\/p>

\u201cHe, he\u2019s the electrician I just invited,\u201d J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu\u2019s brain spun quickly and she blurted out, \u201cMother, the lights in my room are broken so I asked him to take a look.\u201d<\/p>

Mrs. J\u01d0 walked a circle around Ryan and smiled kindly, \u201cThere\u2019s such good-looking electricians this year.\u201d<\/p>

\u201c. . .\u201d<\/p>

Her mother looked at J\u01d0 Xi\u01ceo \u014cu, \u201cI just went into your room to look and didn\u2019t find anything that looked broken.\u201d<\/p>
